Tokyo Vanity & Tasha Catour, B.A.P.S (Review)
Tokyo Vanity and Tasha Catour are a match made in Hip-Hop heaven, as they come together on B.A.P.S.
The 10-track album is a mix of motivation, hustle, and undeniable flare from Tokyo Vanity. Features from LightSkinKeisha, Skippa da Flippa, Dolly, Dora, Ferragamo, and CashOnly simply sweeten the deal.
My personal favorites from the project include "Rep the Struggle", "Get the Money", and "Okay B*tch". The whole project is truly reminiscent of the mixtape era with seamless storytelling, and Catour’s infamous drop “Catour F*ck It Up!”.
Let me not forget to mention that B.A.P.S is such a fitting title and theme for the duo; Two women (or Beautiful American Princess') keepin’ it real, reaching success by way of their genuine style and talent. That’s absolutely spot on!
